GRINNELL, Iowa - Illinois College Men's Tennis Coach
Scott Weakley was named the 2025 Midwest Conference Coach of the Year, and the Blueboys were awarded the league's Sportsmanship Award, the conference announced today.
Weakley helped guide IC to the conference team tournament semifinals for the first time in program history. The Blueboys also had a stellar showing at the league's individual tournament. All six IC singles players posted a victory, and all three doubles teams won their opening-round matches.
The Blueboys were presented with the league's Sportsmanship Award, which is given annually to the squad that best exemplifies the highest sportsmanship ideals of the Midwest Conference.
