JACKSONVILLE, Ill.- Illinois College couldn't overcome a big offensive day from Lawrence, falling 16–6 in the final game of the weekend series.
Lawrence improved to 16-16 (10-6) on the year, and the Blueboys are now 22-15 (10-8) following the loss.

The Blueboys struck first in the opening inning when
Tyler Barker drove in
Louie Bartletti with an RBI single. After falling behind, Illinois College chipped away again in the third and fifth innings, with Barker delivering a double and a solo home run to lead the offense. Barker finished 3-for-5 with three RBIs and two extra-base hits.
Louie Bartletti had a strong day at the top of the lineup, reaching base five times with two hits and three walks, while stealing two bases and scoring three runs.
Connor Hennemann added a late RBI double off the bench, and
Shelby Lee and
Logan Fleener each reached safely in pinch-hit appearances.
Six different Blueboy pitchers took the mound, but a series of big innings, including a five-run eighth and a three-homer ninth, put the game out of reach.
