JACKSONVILLE, Ill- The Illinois College Lady Blues honored their lone senior,
Anna McKee, on Saturday with a thrilling 72-67 victory over the No. 2 ranked team in the conference, Lawrence, in Sherman Gymnasium.
With this win, the Lady Blues move to 9-13 overall and 6-7 in conference play while the Vikings move to 16-6 and 10-3 in conference.

The Lady Blues came out strong in the first quarter, building an early lead up to 11 points and finishing the period ahead by nine. However, Lawrence fought back in the second quarter, shooting 50% from the field to take a 42-40 lead into halftime.
Both teams struggled offensively in the third quarter, but the Vikings maintained a five-point lead heading into the final period. The Lady Blues, however, responded with a dominant fourth quarter, shooting 57% from the field to secure an upset victory over Lawrence.
Kallie Oestreicher led the charge, scoring 14 points in the final quarter to propel IC to the huge win. The Lady Blues finished the game shooting 40.9% from three-point range, going 9-for-22.
Anna McKee made the most of her senior day, scoring 14 points while hitting 2-of-5 from beyond the arc.
Jayln Patterson contributed 13 points, while
Kaity Robison added 10, making both of her three-point attempts. Patterson also grabbed nine rebounds, and
Shaili Betts chipped in with nine rebounds and three steals.
