JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College men's basketball team played one of its most complete games of the season en route to beating Lawrence, 66-43, on Saturday at Sherman Gymnasium.
IC is now 15-7 overall and 8-5 in the Midwest Conference. Lawrence moved to 6-16 and 4-9. The win was the 100th in the coaching career of Blueboy Head Coach

The Blueboys never trailed in the contest and took the lead for good on a 3pt. field goal by
Matt Thompson just 4:02 into the contest. IC's 17-point halftime lead was its biggest of the period.
IC didn't take its foot off the gas pedal in the second half, pushing the lead to 27 before emptying it bench as a season-high 18 players saw action on the day.
Josh Harris led the Blueboys with a game-high 16 points while
Buzz Ritzel added 12 and
Ty Lenhardt 10.
Jaylen Swinney grabbed a game-high 15 rebounds for the victors.

IC has won eight of its last 11 outings… the Blueboys have won 47 of their last 59 (47-12) games and 64 of the past 76 (64-12)… IC has also won 36 of its previous 45 Midwest Conference contests… today kicked off a stretch for the Blueboys that has them playing three of their final four regular-season games at home… IC honored its seniors Harris, Ritzel, and Thompson prior to the game as this was the final Saturday home game of the regular season… Schweer became the fourth head coach in IC basketball history to have 100 career victories.
