MONMOUTH, Ill- Jayln Patterson led the Lady Blues once again with a career high 32 points in their 86-68 win over Monmouth College Wednesday night in Glennie Gymnasium.
With the win, IC moves to 8-13 and 5-7 in conference play, while Monmouth drops to 5-16 overall and 2-10 in conference play.

Monmouth took an early 11-5 lead over the Lady Blues just six minutes into the game, but IC was able to go on a 9-0 run to lead 14-11 which they never gave back.
Patterson ended the night shooting 55% from the field going 10 for 18 while going 10 for 12 from the free throw line. Patterson led the team with five of the 18 steals for the Lady Blues.
Kallie Oestreicher and
Anna McKee each finished the night with 10 points, knocking down two three-pointers apiece.
Ashlyn Wightman added nine points while leading the team with eight rebounds and an impressive seven blocks, tying her for the second-most blocks in a single game in program history.

Jayln Patterson has been on fire, averaging 21 points per game over her last six outings for the Lady Blues. With tonight's 32-point performance, she is now tied for third in single-game scoring.
