GRINNELL, IOWA- Ashlyn Wightman led the Lady Blues with another double-double but ultimately fell 65-59 to Grinnell College in Darby Gym.
This win moves Grinnell to 13-7 overall and 7-4 in conference play sitting in 5
th place, and the loss moves the Lady Blues to 7-13 and 4-7 in conference play.

Grinnell maintained control for nearly 34 minutes, but the Lady Blues stayed resilient, briefly taking the lead with nine minutes left. With the score tied at 54-54 and three minutes remaining, Grinnell closed strong with an 11-5 run to secure the victory.
Offensive struggles were evident for both teams, as IC shot better overall but managed just 1-of-17 from beyond the arc. However, the Lady Blues dominated the paint, scoring 38 points inside.
Ashlyn Wightman recorded her eighth double-double of the season with 16 points and 14 rebounds.
Anna McKee and
Jayln Patterson combined for 22 points, with McKee hitting IC's lone three-pointer.
Kallie Oestreicher and
Raegen Stringer each tallied three steals, contributing to IC forcing 16 turnovers from Grinnell.
