JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College men's basketball team dropped an 81-74 decision to Webster in the final non-conference contest of the season on Tuesday at Sherman Gymnasium.
The Blueboys are now 4-8, while the Gorlocks improved to 9-2.

Webster took an early lead just under two minutes into the game and held the lead for the remainder of the half. The Gorlocks led by as much as 14 before taking a 31-22 advantage into the break.
IC began to chip away in the second half and retook the lead at 42-41 on a layup by
Seth Doss with 11:35 to play. The Blueboys pushed the advantage to 47-43 with 9:57 remaining and led 52-51 after a
DeShawn Nolan jumper with 6:50 left, but that would be IC's last lead of the night.
The Blueboys got 19 points from
Ty Lenhardt and 16 from Doss, who also had a game-high eight rebounds. Nolan chipped in with 14 points as well.

The Blueboys kick off the 2026 portion of the season on Saturday when they host Beloit in a Midwest Conference contest at 2:00 p.m. This game is a makeup for the contest that was postponed on December 13th due to inclement weather in Central Illinois.
