JACKSONVILLE, Ill. –
Ty Lenhardt poured in 26 points to lead four players in double figures as the Illinois College men's basketball team turned back Blackburn, 81-74, in a non-conference contest on Saturday at Sherman Gymnasium.
The win moved the Blueboys to 4-7, while Blackburn is now 3-7.

The Beavers scored the first five points of the game before IC rallied with a 9-2 run. After Blackburn took a 10-9 lead, IC's
Seth Doss scored with 12:06 to play in the opening half to give the Blueboys a lead they would hold for the remainder of the period. IC led by as much as five and took a 42-40 lead into the break.
The Blueboys pushed the lead to as much as seven (47-40) in the early stages of the second frame and held the advantage until the 8:57 mark when Blackburn jumped ahead 60-57. The teams traded the lead until
DeShawn Nolan hit two free throws with 2:38 to play, giving IC a lead it would never relinquish.
Along with Lenhardt's game-high 26 points, IC got 18 points from Doss, 17 from
Andrew Thomas, and 10 from Nolan. Thomas also led the Blueboys with six rebounds.
Austin Robinson, Doss, and Lenhardt all had four boards, and Lenhardt added a team-best three assists.

The Blueboys will break for the Christmas holiday before returning to Sherman Gymnasium to host Webster on December 30th in the final non-conference contest of the season. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
