APPLETON, Wis. — The Illinois College volleyball team closed out its regular season on Saturday afternoon, falling 3–0 to Lawrence University (18–25, 23–25, 11–25) in Midwest Conference play.
The Lady Blues finished the regular season with a 10-20 overall record, but closed out the conference season with a 5-3 record and will be the fourth seed entering the conference tournament.
Delani Klaas led the Lady Blues attack with seven kills and added six digs, while Haylie Orton tallied five kills and three blocks. Summer Brandis finished with 12 assists and four digs, and Kahli O'Neal added 10 assists and four digs. Mady Salisbury anchored the defense with 10 digs and two service aces.
Illinois College battled tightly in the second set, trading points with the Vikings before Lawrence closed it out down the stretch.

The Lady Blues enter post-season play as the conference tournament will take place in Mount Vernon, Iowa as the Lady Blues will take on the host Cornell College on Friday, November 14th at 7:00pm.
