The Blueboys opened the scoring with a 12-yard touchdown pass from Tyson Elliott to Timothy Middleton, II on the final play of the first quarter. Zack Banovz ran in the two-point conversion try to give IC an 8-0 lead.

IC held that lead until the final play of the first half when Toby McTamney drilled a 37-yard field goal to move the score to 11-0 at halftime.

Lleyton Miller scampered in from 36 yards out with 7:46 to play in the third quarter, and after McTamney's extra point, the score moved to 18-0. The Blueboys closed out the day, fittingly, with a defensive score when Clayton Denardo intercepted a pass at the Cornell goal line and stepped in for the touchdown with 1:33 remaining in the game.

The Blueboys limited the Rams to just 162 yards of total offense. Daniel Guzevich led the charge with six tackles. Drake Stuart added five stops, and Malik Byndom had a pair of interceptions.

Offensively, Elliott went 20-for-26 in wet conditions for 199 yards and a score.

Miller led the ground attack with 99 yards on 11 carries and a score as IC rushed for 169 yards on the day.
