JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College women's basketball team won its second straight contest and evened its record with a 79-66 victory over Greenville on Saturday at Sherman Gymnasium.
IC is now 2-2 on the season, while Greenville moved to 1-2

The Lady Blues never trailed in the contest and enjoyed their biggest lead of the opening half at 29-19 in the second quarter before taking a 33-28 lead into halftime.
IC continued to push its advantage in the third quarter, leading by as much as 18 at 58-40 with 1:14 to go in the quarter. The Lady Blues cruised home in the fourth quarter as the Panthers would get no closer than eight points on two occasions before the final horn.
Kallie Oestreicher led IC with a game-high 24 points while
Jayln Patterson added 21. They were the only Lady Blues in double figures as 11 different IC players scored in the game.
Danielle Beach had a game-high eight rebounds for IC while
Raegen Stringer dished out a contest-high seven assists for the victors.
