Box Score JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College Lady Blues dropped a 65–55 decision to Webster on Wednesday night inside Sherman Gymnasium.
The Lady Blues fall to 2-3 on the season as they get near conference play, and the Gorlocks improve to 2-1 on the season.
Webster built an early advantage with a 21–8 opening quarter, but the Lady Blues responded with a 26-point second quarter and clawed their way back within single digits multiple times in the second half.
Kallie Oestreicher led Illinois College with 15 points on 5-of-12 shooting, including three made threes, while Raegen Stringer added six points and a team-high five assists. Danielle Beach contributed seven rebounds and five points, and the IC bench provided a crucial spark with 21 points.
Illinois College shot 39.2% from the field and knocked down seven three-pointers, adding 12 fast-break points and 20 points in the paint.
