PELLA, Iowa – The Illinois College volleyball squad dropped a pair of matches at the Central Tri on Tuesday.
The Lady Blues dropped a 3-0 (25-21, 25-17, 25-16) decision to Simpson to start the evening and then fell 3-1 to Central (25-12, 20-25, 25-19, 25-13) in the nightcap.
IC is now 9-18 overall.

IC was paced by
Elliana Huckstep, who posted a team-high nine kills and a .368 hitting percentage.
Delani Klaas added eight kills for the Lady Blues.
Summer Brandis dished out 17 assists while recording four aces.
On defense, IC was led by
Mady Salisbury's eight digs while
Riley Drake chipped in with seven.

Ella Ausmus led the IC attack with a team-best eight kills while
Laura Kaiser,
Alyssa Burglund, and Klaas each added five. Brandis recorded 16 assists while
Kahli O'Neal added 13.
As she did in the first match of the day, Salisbury led IC with 11 digs.
