Blueboys Sit Fifth After Opening Round at Prairie Fire Fall Classic

GALESBURG, Ill. – The Illinois College men's golf team wrapped up the first round of the Prairie Fire Fall Classic on Saturday at Soangetaha Golf Course in Galesburg, Illinois. The Blueboys currently stand in fifth place after posting a team score of 318 (+30) as they head into the final round tomorrow morning. 

Teddy Walbaum led IC with a 77 (+5) to sit in a tie for 12th individually. Walbaum carded four birdies on the day and played his final eight holes at one-under par.

Myles Kampwerth (79), Drake Bartos (81), and Emmitt Brokaw (81) rounded out the top four scores for Illinois College in the opening round.
