RIPON, WIS- The Illinois College women's basketball team faced a tough challenge on Saturday, falling 88-49 in a conference matchup against Ripon College. The loss brings IC's record to 5-10 overall and 2-4 in conference play and Ripon moves to 10-4 and 4-1 in conference play on the year.

Ripon never trailed in the contest while scoring a season high of 89 points. IC was held to 32% from the field and just 21% from behind the arc. The Lady Blues were out rebounded 60-28 including 28 offensive rebounds for Ripon.
Anna McKee led the scoring for IC with 10 points while going 2-4 from the three.
Ashlyn Wightman added eight points along with two blocks and four steals.

Ashlyn Wightman is now just 25 points away from joining the 1,000-point club at Illinois College.
