Blueboys Score Six Goals in Big Win

ST. LOUIS – The Illinois College men's soccer team scored three goals in each half and rolled to a 6-1 victory over the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis at the Saint Louis University High School football stadium on Sunday.

The victory moved IC to 3-1 on the season. The Eutectics moved to 0-4.

The Blueboys wasted no time putting this one away as Tyler Schiltz found the net at the 9:51 mark of the opening half. Tyler Lunning answered Schiltz's goal with one of his own just under three minutes later as he scored at the 13:39 mark.

After a UHSP goal at 18:45, Schiltz tallied for the second time on the day at the 24:29 mark to close out the first half scoring.

The second stanza was all IC. Toby Ybarra scored at the 50:30 mark and Reed Rogers found the net 1:07 later before J'aiden Cranwell-Meneses finished off the scoring for the day with just 21 seconds to play.

Along with scoring a pair of goals, Schiltz led the Blueboys with four shots while Reed added three. 

Owen Macias went the distance in goal for IC, posting a save as USHP was only able to manage four shots on the match.
