LEXINGTON, Ky – The Lady Blues faced off against Transylvania in their final match of the tournament and suffered a 3-0 defeat, bringing their season record to 2-4.
Ligaya Garibay led IC once again in kills on the match, but Transylvania had three in double digits for kills. Transylvania began as a top 15 team in the country, and despite starting 0-4, they remained in the top 20 in the rankings.
The Lady Blues will be back on the road next weekend as they travel to Dubuque, Iowa for the Loras Invitational and is set to play three on thematches road trip before coming back home.
