Box Score 2 LEXINGTON, Ky – The Lady Blues traveled to Lexington, Kentucky, for the Transylvania Invitational, facing Covenant College (#23 in the country) and Centre College, who recently defeated the former #3 team, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. The Lady Blues lost both matches, moving to 2-3 on the season.
Match 1: Centre College 3 Illinois College 2
Despite 17 serving errors by Centre, the Colonels managed to secure a victory in a five-set match. Illinois College started strong, winning two of the first three sets, but the Colonels rallied to take sets four and five, ultimately winning the match and improving their season record to 4-1.
Ligaya Garibay led the Lady Blues with 14 kills, while

Alyssa Burglund each recorded 5 block assists.
Match 2: Covenant College 3 Illinois College 1
