JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College women's soccer team is off to an unbeaten start after playing Augustana to a 1-1 draw on Wednesday night at England Stadium.
The draw moved IC to 1-0-1 overall while the Vikings also moved to 1-0-1.

The opening half of the match was a defensive standoff as neither team was able to establish much of a presence near the goal.
The Lady Blues opened the scoring when
Haley Sommer recorded an unassisted goal at the 51:20 mark of the contest.Â
Despite a strong defensive effort from IC, Augustana was able to break through late in the contest and with just under seven minutes remaining, the Vikings' Giorgia Felicita found the net on a feed from Liesl Whitener.
Sommer and
Olivia Ralston paced the Lady Blue attack with three shots each.
Lauren Sinclair and
Brianna Noud also had shots for IC.Â
Sophia Kriegesmann recorded six saves in goal for IC.
