ELSAH, Ill. – The Illinois College women's soccer team remained unbeaten, posting a 2-0 victory over Principia on Thursday at the Principia Soccer Field.
The win moved IC to 2-0-1 on the season while the Panthers fell to 0-2.

Playing their second match in two nights, the Lady Blues showed little signs of fatigue, outshooting Principia 36-1.
IC opened the scoring when senior
Kayla Serpa scored her first goal of the season at the 39:43 mark. Freshman
Holly Morehart closed out the scoring with her first collegiate goal at the 52:35 mark of the second stanza.
The Lady Blues peppered the Panther goal all night, led by
Haley Sommer who recorded 10 shots while
Erin O'Connell added six and
Olivia Ralston four for the victors.
IC's netminders only saw one shot on the night and posted a combined shutout.
Sophia Kriegesmann opened the match in goal and worked a clean first half.
Stella Gonzalez took over in the second half and completed the shutout.

IC had 14 different players record shots in the match… Principia's lone shot of the match came at the 81:34 mark of the contest.
