All of the fireworks in this match took place in the final 22 minutes of the match. Greenville opened the scoring with a goal at the 10:41 mark of the opening half and that lead stood until halftime.

The excitement started at the 67:46 mark of the contest when Pelletier, a junior from Cumming, Ga., scored on an assist from Daniel Garcia. The teams remained deadlocked until the 85:55 mark when the Panthers scored what looked to be the match clincher, but IC wasn't done.

The Blueboys answered just 1:04 after the Greenville goal when Pelletier drilled a bicycle kick into the back of the net on a feed from Toby Ybarra ending the night on an exciting note.

IC out-shot the Panthers, 11-7. Pelletier, Jives Efemini, Tyler Lunning, and Aidan Gowin all had three shots for the Blueboys.

Daniel Happach recorded a pair of saves for IC in goal.
