JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College men's soccer team rallied twice behind
Jacob Pelletier to forge a 2-2 draw with Greenville in a non-conference match on Tuesday at England Stadium.
With the draw, IC moved to 5-3-1 on the season while Greenville is now 2-4-2.

All of the fireworks in this match took place in the final 22 minutes of the match. Greenville opened the scoring with a goal at the 10:41 mark of the opening half and that lead stood until halftime.
The excitement started at the 67:46 mark of the contest when Pelletier, a junior from Cumming, Ga., scored on an assist from
Daniel Garcia. The teams remained deadlocked until the 85:55 mark when the Panthers scored what looked to be the match clincher, but IC wasn't done.
The Blueboys answered just 1:04 after the Greenville goal when Pelletier drilled a bicycle kick into the back of the net on a feed from
Toby Ybarra ending the night on an exciting note.
IC out-shot the Panthers, 11-7. Pelletier,
Jives Efemini,
Tyler Lunning, and
Aidan Gowin all had three shots for the Blueboys.
Daniel Happach recorded a pair of saves for IC in goal.
Blue Notes
This was the final non-conference home match of the 2024 season for IC. The Blueboys will travel to Elmhurst next week to end the non-conference portion of the season. This was the first draw of the season for IC.
