JACKSONVILLE, Ill. –
Aidan Gowin scored three goals to power Illinois College past Coe in a men's non-conference soccer match on Saturday night at England Stadium.
The win moved IC to 5-3-0 on the season while the Kohawks dropped to 3-3-1.

The first half was the Gowin show as he scored all three of his goals in the opening 45 minutes. His first came just 6:11 into the match when he tallied on a penalty kick. One minute and one second later,
Jives Efemini scored on a header before Gowin took over. He scored again at the 11:03 mark and added his third at 19:42.
Coe got on the board at the 37:11 mark and IC had a 4-1 lead at the break.
The Kohawks opened the scoring in the second period before
Tyler Schiltz tallied at 81:20 to close out the goals.
IC outshot the Kohawks, 11-8, and was led by Gowin who scored on all three of his shots.
Owen Macias had four saves while going the distance in net for the Blueboys.
