JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – Millikin scored a goal in each half and used those to post a 2-0 victory over the Illinois College men's soccer team in a non-conference contest on Wednesday at England Stadium.
The defeat dropped IC to 4-3-0 on the season while the Big Blue improved to 4-1-0.

It was a tightly contested match for the entire 90 minutes. Millikin broke the scoreless tie on a goal by Clayton Gibson at the 25:29 mark of the opening half. The Big Blue added an insurance goal at the 78:22 mark of the match when Brennan Smith found the net.
Millikin outshot IC, 13-8, on the night. The Blueboy offense was paced by
Oscar Liogon Arenas who had a team-high three shots.
Tyler Schiltz added two for the Blueboys.
TJ Esseily recorded three saves in goal for IC.
