JACKSONVILLE, Ill. –  The Illinois College women's soccer team remained unbeaten on the season as it posted a 2-0 victory over Great Lakes Christian College in a non-conference match on Thursday at England Stadium.
With the victory, IC moved to 4-0-1 on the season while GLCC fell to 3-1-3.

The Lady Blues scored once in each half to earn the victory.
IC's first goal came from
Haley Sommer, who blasted a shot in for her team-leading fourth goal of the season at the 2:55 mark of the first half. Sommer was assisted on the play by
Holly Morehart.
Darian Blackburn added an insurance goal for the Lady Blues in the second half when she scored off a feed from
Olivia Ralston at the 56:08 mark.
IC outshot the Crusaders, 12-5 on the night. Sommer led the Lady Blues with six shots while
Erin O'Connell added two.Â
Stella Gonzalez went the distance in goal for IC, stopping three shots.
