JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College women's tennis team saw its five-match winning streak stopped at the hands of Illinois Wesleyan, dropping a 5-2 decision on Tuesday at the Bellatti Tennis Complex.
IWU was able to take the doubles point despite the Lady Blues getting a victory at No. 3 from
Chloe Plough and
Hannah Lueke.
In singles play, IC got victories from Maddi Eastin at No. 5 and
Sabrina Ingram at No. 6 but it wasn't enough to overcome the Titans

The Lady Blues will begin the Midwest Conference portion of the season on Saturday when they travel to Iowa to face Cornell and Grinnell.
