Men’s Tennis Falls Twice During Opening Weekend

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 WEBSTER GROVES, Mo. – The Illinois College men's tennis team dropped a pair of matches during its opening weekend of play on Saturday at the Webster Groves Tennis Center.

The Blueboys opened the day with a 6-1 loss to Webster before falling to Southwestern Illinois College, 6-1, in the afternoon.

The Gorlocks took the doubles point despite IC getting a win from Jeff Wernsing and Glenn Conway at No. 1. Webster won five of the six singles matches as well with the lone Blueboy win coming from Conway at No.3.
