JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – Marisa Antonacci has been named the Cheer Coach for Illinois College it was announced today by Head Dance Coach & Director of Spirit Teams Samantha Laster.
" I'm happy to welcome Marisa to the spirit program at IC, Laster said. "I'm excited for her and the cheer team this season. Her skills and experience will take our cheer team to the next level!"
"I am so excited to be a part of the Illinois College family and I cannot wait to watch this program grow!" Antonacci said.
A veteran of cheer, Antonacci has been involved with the sport for the past 15 years. She was a member of the cheer squad at McKendree University from 2015-17 and began coaching immediately after concluding her collegiate career.
Antonacci was on the coaching staff at Allstar Cheerleading for eight years and led her teams to numerous titles including the 2024 Allstar World Championship title.
