JACKSONVILLE, Ill- The Illinois College volleyball team celebrated Senior Day on Saturday with a 3-0 conference win over Knox College. The Lady Blues honored

With this win, IC moves to 13-14 overall on the year and 4-3 in conference play. The loss drops Knox to 3-20 and 2-5 in conference play.

The Lady Blues came out strong in the final game of the season in Sherman, as IC only trailed once in the match (2-1 in the third set). IC was clicking on all sides as the Lady Blues ended with a .300 hitting percentage, 13 serving aces, and 46 digs.
Ligaya Garibay ended the match with 12 kills on 25 attempts, four service aces, and eight digs to cap off a strong win for IC.
Alex Johnson led the Lady Blues with 18 digs on the match along with two service aces as well.
Abby Buchanan-Kenzinger also got in the action on her senior day with eight kills on 14 attempts.
Laura Kaiser and
Haylie Orton also got in on the action with a combined 11 kills.
Summer Brandis led IC with 22 assist on the match as well as four digs.

The Lady Blues will travel to Beloit, Wisconsin on Saturday, November 9th for the regular season finale at 10:00am looking to get another conference victory.
