GALESBURG, Ill. –
Jacob Pelletier scored with just over two minutes to play and sent the Illinois College men's soccer team to a 1-0 Midwest Conference win over Knox on Wednesday afternoon at Jorge Prats Field.
The victory moved IC to 8-3-1 overall and 2-0-0 in conference play. Knox dropped to 3-7-2, 0-2-1

The story of the day came at the very end. Pelletier took a pass from
Thomas Menke at the 87:38 mark of the match and buried it to provide the only scoring of the contest and send IC home victorious.
The Blueboys out-shot the Prairie Fire, 15-11, but Knox had six shots on goal to IC's five.
Daniel Happach recorded the shutout for the Blueboys in goal, recording six saves.
IC's offense was led by
Tyler Schiltz who had a team-high four shots while
Toby Ybarra,
Jives Efemini, and Pelletier each had two.

The Blueboys are unbeaten in their past five Midwest Conference matches dating back to last season.
