JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College men's soccer squad remained unbeaten in league play with a 3-1 win over Grinnell in a Midwest Conference match on Saturday at England Stadium.
The victory improved IC to 9-3-1 overall and 3-0-0 in conference play. Grinnell moved to 3-4-5 and 1-1-1.

The Blueboys took the lead just 2:10 into the contest when
Reed Rogers scored on a penalty kick. It was a lead IC would never relinquish.
After leading 1-0 at halftime, the Blueboys opened the scoring in the second frame when
Tyler Schiltz scored on a feed from
Toby Ybarra at the 59:21 mark.
The Pioneers got right back into the match on a goal from Demi Oni but IC's
Tyler Lunning iced the contest for the Blueboys with a goal almost six minutes later to end the scoring.
Rogers paced the IC attack with two shots on the day while
Owen Macias posted five saves in goal.

IC is unbeaten in their past six Midwest Conference matches dating back to last season.
