JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College women's soccer squad dropped a 4-1 decision to Lake Forest in a Midwest Conference match on Saturday night at England Stadium.
The defeat dropped IC to 9-5-3 overall and 1-3-2 in conference play. Conference-leading Lake Forest improved to 11-2-3 and 6-0-1.

The Foresters opened the scoring in a hurry, jumping out to a 1-0 lead just 2:41 into the match when Caitlin Mulchay scored.
The Lady Blues rallied right back as
McKenzie Murray evened the contest at 1 at 19:16.
Lake Forest's Anna Gracia broke the tie just before halftime when she tallied at the 42:23 mark. The Foresters added a pair of goals by Anna Hoffman in the late stages of the match (75:45 and 76:43) to put the contest away.
Lake Forest had 19 shots on the night to IC's 9. The Lady Blues were led by Murray's three shots while
Olivia Ralston had two.
Stella Gonzalez had four saves in net for IC.
