JACKSONVILLE, Ill.- The Illinois College Lady Blues earned a win against Principia College on Wednesday night with a final score of 4-1. This advances the team to 1-2 overall this season.
IC got off to a hot start jumping to a three goal lead.
Erin O'Connell,
Haley Sommer, and
Kayla Piper were the goal scorers for the Lady Blues in the first half.
Sommer would add her second goal of the day on a penalty kick in the 46th minute.
Sophia Kriegesmann represented IC in goal with two saves.
The team will travel to face UHSP on Thursday, 9/7 at 7:00 PM.
