CLAYTON, Mo.- The Illinois College Blueboys traveled to face Fontbonne University on Wednesday night. The team came away with a 3-0 win to advance to 2-1 overall on the season.
Reed Rogers was able to strike first to give IC the early lead in the 12th minute. The team would hold the lead 1-0 heading into halftime.
Tyler Lunning would extend the Blueboys lead with another goal in the 67th minute.
Sam Blair would seal the win with another goal assisted by
Albert Nimako in the 83rd minute.
TJ Esseily represented the Blueboys in goal with the shutout victory.
The team will travel to face Simpson College on Friday, 9/8 at 5:00 PM.
