IOWA CITY, Iowa. - The Illinois College men's golf team concluded action at the two-day Central College Fall Classic on Tuesday. The Blueboys earned an a 11th-place team finish with a team score of 641.
In the opening round,
Samuel Frericks led the Blueboys with a low score of 80. He was closely followed by
Kacee Fulkerson with a round of 81. In the final round on Tuesday, IC was led by
Jarrett James as he responded with a three-over par 75 for an overall score of 159. Frericks improved one stroke on day two with a round of 79 and to earn a final score of 159.
For the tournament, IC was led by James and Frericks with 33rd overall finishes.
Cole Bartels (160), Fulkerson (163), and
Ashton Sutton (167) rounded out the final team scores for the Blueboys.
Peter Hauser (162),
Tobin Nell (166), and
Dane Huber (169) as competed for IC in the tournament.
This tournament concludes the 2023 fall season for the Blueboys.
