NAPERVILLE, Ill. - The IC volleyball team traveled to North Central College for a non-conference match Friday night. The Lady Blues battled the Cardinals but fell short by the final score of 0-3.
IC was led on offense by
Paige Knuffman with 11 kills while
Ligaya Garibay and
Laura Kaiser each contributed eight.
Summer Brandis facilitated 30-of-31 total assists while adding two service aces in the match.
Defensively, the Lady Blues had two student-athletes achieve double-digit digs marks as
Jen Humbolt and Garibay each collected 11. Kaiser led IC with two solo blocks and an assisted block while
Haylie Orton added the other solo block in the match.
The Lady Blues will travel to Lake Forest College on Saturday, October 21 for a Midwest Conference match starting at 1:00 PM in Lake Forest, Illinois.
