RIPON, Wis.- The Illinois College Blueboys traveled to face Ripon College on Saturday. IC came away with the win 66-54 to advance to 14-1 and 6-0 in the MWC. The Blueboys have won 13 games in a row and are undefeated so far this season in conference play.
Buzz Ritzel led the team with 16 points in the contest.
Jahkeis Tippett (12) and
Josh Harris (11) were both able to reach double-figures in scoring as well.
Nestor Daboin led the Blueboys with 12 rebounds.
IC stood ahead 35-32 after a made three-pointer by
Josh Harris in the final seconds of the first half. The Blueboys were able to establish a lead in the second half and defeat the Red Hawks for the second time this season.
The Blueboys will host Lake Forest College on Saturday, 1/14 at 5:00 PM.
