MONMOUTH, Ill.- The Illinois College Lady Blues traveled to face Monmouth College on Tuesday night. IC defeated the Fighting Scots with a final score of 51-46. This advances the Lady Blues to 8-12 overall and 6-6 in the MWC.

Jennifer McCormick earned her 100th win over the course of her NCAA coaching career in the victory over the Scots.
The Lady Blues were led by
Maya Smith with 10 points on the night.
Anna McKee led the team on the boards with eight rebounds.
The team held a one-point lead in the final two minutes of the game. Smith was able to hit a big three-pointer to put IC ahead 44-40. A turnover by the Scots would lead to a made jumper by
Lakeida Nichols to stretch the lead to 46-40. The Lady Blues finished the game with stellar free throw shooting to seal the win.
IC will host Principia College on Monday, 2/6 at 7:00 PM.
