MONMOUTH, Ill.- The Illinois College men's basketball team traveled to face Monmouth College on Tuesday night. The team earned a win with a final score of 76-42. This advances the team to 19-2 overall and 11-1 in the MWC.
With an overall record of 19-2, the team now has the most wins by a men's basketball team in program history.
Jake Mazrimas led the team with 13 points and six rebounds on the night.
Nestor Daboin had an impactful performance as well with 10 points and six rebounds. Other double-figure scorers included
Jaxson Dian with 12 points and
Josh Harris with 10 points.
The Blueboys relied on strong defensive play holding the Fighting Scots to 25 percent shooting on the night.
The team will host Grinnell College on Wednesday, 2/8 at 7:30 PM.
