GRINNELL, Iowa- The Illinois College men's basketball team traveled to face Grinnell College on Saturday. IC came away with a win defeating the Pioneers with a final score of 110-97. This improves the Blueboys to 18-2 overall and 10-1 in the MWC.
The Blueboys had five players in double figures led by
Jake Mazrimas totaling 27 points on the night.
Nestor Daboin was a standout recording a double-double and leading the team in rebounding with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Other double-figure scorers included
Buzz Ritzel (21),
Jaxson Dian (14), and
Jahkeis Tippett (12).
The team will travel to face Monmouth College on Tuesday, 1/31 at 7:30 PM.
