FULTON, Mo.- The Illinois College men's soccer team picked up a win against Westminster College on the road with a final score of 1-0. This improves the Blueboys to 2-1 overall this season.
IC relied on an early goal by
Tyler Schiltz in the sixth minute to take the lead in the first half. The Blueboys put together a strong defensive effort to hold the Blue Jays to nine shots in the game and finish the shutout victory.
Owen Macias represented the team in goal recording three saves in the match.
IC will host Fontbonne University on Wednesday, 9/7 at 7:00 PM.
