MONMOUTH, Ill.- The Illinois College Lady Blues tennis team traveled to face Monmouth College in MWC action on Friday. The team was able to come away with a victory with a final score of 7-2.
The Lady Blues led 2-1 after the doubles competition picking up wins by the No. 2 doubles team of
Hannah Lueke and
Shya Prescott 8-2, and No. 3 doubles team of
Lydia Criveau and
Jasmine Dennis 8-1.
IC continued their momentum winning five of their six singles matches to claim the win over the Fighting Scots.
The women's and men's tennis teams will return to action on Tuesday, 10/4 hosting UHSP at 5:00 PM.
