JACKSONVILLE, Ill.- The Illinois College men's and women's tennis teams hosted UHSP on Tuesday night. The women's team was able to pick up a win 6-3 and the Blueboys fell with a score of 2-7.
The Lady Blues were led by
Hannah Lueke and
Shya Prescott picking up a win in No. 2 doubles 9-7. In singles competition,
Lily Ingram was able to earn a victory in No. 3 singles 6-0, 6-0, and Mikayla Haloftis was able to come away with a win in No. 4 singles 6-0, 6-1.
The Blueboys were led by
Kyler Kantor battling at No. 4 singles in a tight matchup and
Jovan Norris in a hard-fought match in No. 5 singles.
This ends the Fall season for the Blueboys as they will return to competition in the Spring. The Lady Blues will travel to face Coe College on Friday, 10/7 at 4:00 PM.
