ROCK ISLAND, Ill.- The Illinois College men's soccer team traveled to face Augustana College on Wednesday night. The team was able to walk away with a 1-0 win to advance to 5-1-1 overall this season.
IC took the lead after a goal by
Sam Blair in the 12th minute. The Blueboys relied on strong defensive play to maintain their lead for the entirety of the match.
Carlos Garcia was exceptional in goal recording six saves on the night.
The Blueboys will travel to face Buena Vista on Saturday, 9/17 at 12:30 PM.
