ST. LOUIS, Mo.- IC men's soccer traveled on Sunday to face UHSP. The team claimed a 3-1 victory to advance to 4-1-1 overall.
The Blueboys were able to jump ahead after a goal from
Tyler Lunning in the third minute. UHSP was able to answer with a goal of their own to tie the score at the end of the first half.
The second half proved to fall in the Blueboys favor. Lunning scored his second goal of the game after an assist by
Toby Ybarra to put the team ahead.
Grant Koplinski sealed the win by connecting with the net in the 64th minute to make the score 3-1.
IC was led in goal by
Caleb Fink recording four saves in the match.
The Blueboys will return to action on the road against Augustana College this Wednesday, 9/14 at 4:30 PM.
