JACKSONVILLE, Ill.- The Illinois College Blueboys hosted Monmouth College in a single game on Senior Day this Sunday. The Blueboys came up short in a hard fought battle against the Scots with a final of 6-7 after extra innings. This drops IC to 15-21 overall and 10-11 in the MWC.
After the conclusion of the game the Blueboys took the time to honor their 15 senior student-athletes.

Nolan Struhs were all recognized for their dedication to the Blueboys baseball program.
The team was led by
Bailey Reed at the plate going three for five with three runs batted in.
Ben Jarboe suffered the loss at the mound pitching 4.1 innings.
The Blueboys were down 4-6 after the top of the sixth inning.
Bailey Reed was able to tie the score with a double bringing in two runs by
James Marcinkowski and
Case Sparks. Both teams stood tied at the end of the ninth as the game headed to extra innings.
Monmouth scored in the top of the tenth to take the lead 6-7. IC was unable to answer, and would suffer the loss.
IC will host Beloit College on Saturday, 5/7 at 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM.
