APPLETON, Wis.- The Illinois College Blueboys traveled to face Lawrence University on Saturday in a single game. The team came up short falling to the Vikings with a final of 0-3. This drops IC to 8-14 overall and 3-4 in the MWC.
The Blueboys battled well against the Vikings with both teams remaining scoreless heading into the final inning. Lawrence was able to claim the win with a walk off three run homer.
Cullen McBride had an impressive day at the mound pitching 8.0 innings with eight strikeouts.
IC will look to bounce back facing Lawrence in a doubleheader tomorrow at 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM.
