GRINNELL, Iowa- The Illinois College Blueboys traveled to face Grinnell College on Wednesday night. The team came up short falling to the Pioneers with a final of 87-95. This drops IC to 10-9 overall and 7-5 in the MWC.
The Blueboys were led by
Nestor Daboin recording his first double-double of the season totaling 18 points and 13 rebounds. Other double figure scorers included
Jake Mazrimas (12),
Tre Rogers (11),
Hunter Ottensmeier (11),
Henry Hayer (11), and
Josh Harris (10).
The Blueboys stood ahead of the Pioneers after the first half 52-47. The Pioneers were able to bounce back in the second half to come away with the hard fought victory.
IC will host Senior Day against Lake Forest College this Saturday, 2/12 at 3:00 PM
