JACKSONVILLE, Ill.- The Illinois College Lady Blues suffered a loss to the Monmouth College Fighting Scots Tuesday night with a final score of 74-82. This drops the Lady Blues to 4-9 overall and 3-5 in the MWC.
Kendra Bass led the team with 27 points in the contest.
Lilly Pepper recorded a double-double leading the team with 11 rebounds and recording 22 points.
The game stood tied 71-71 with 1:15 left in the final quarter. Monmouth would put together an 8-0 run to jump ahead of the Lady Blues in the final minute. The Fighting Scots would hold off IC in the final seconds to walk away with the win.
The team will continue conference play on the road against Beloit College this Thursday, 2/3 at 7:30 PM.
