DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.- The Illinois College Blueboys took on Northern Vermont University-Lyndon in the second game of their Florida trip. The team picked up the win with a final score of 97-57 to advance to 11-1 overall this season.
The Blueboys were led by
Josh Harris with 25 points and eight rebounds. Other double-figure scorers included
Buzz Ritzel with 15 points and
Jake Mazrimas with 11 points.
IC dominated the Hornets on the boards winning the rebounding battle 48-27. The team built a commanding lead with the score at 48-29 at the end of the first half. The Blueboys held onto their lead to earn their tenth victory in a row.
The team will return to action by hosting Augustana College on Friday, 12/20 at 3:00 PM.
