APPLETON, Wis.- The Illinois College Blueboys traveled to face Lawrence University this weekend in MWC action. IC picked up the win over the Vikings with a final score of 72-43 to advance to 9-1 overall and 4-0 in the MWC.
The team was led by
Josh Harris totaling 17 points in the contest. Other double-figure scorers included
Jake Mazrimas with 16 points and
Jahkeis Tippett with 11 points.
Nestor Daboin led the team in rebounding with 10 rebounds.
The Blueboys took control of this one early, starting the game on a 14-4 run. A made three-pointer by
Buzz Ritzel gave IC their largest lead of the first half with the score 39-17 with 1:26 left before halftime. IC continued to control the pace in the second half to secure their eighth win in a row and remain undefeated at 3-0 in the MWC.
The team will travel to Daytona Beach, Florida to face Northern Vermont University- Lyndon in their next matchup on Sunday, 12/18 at 1:00 PM CT.
